My name is Celeste Javier, and I am a New York City-based actor, dancer, and singer.
I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, where I grew up dancing competitively in musical theatre, jazz, hip hop, and tap. My performing arts journey started out in Film/TV/Commercial work, and I eventually traded the screen for the stage.
I graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a Bachelors in Fine Arts in Musical Theatre with a double minor in Communications and Arts Management.
Select credits include: A Chorus Line (Marymount Manhattan), Carrie: The Musical (Marymount Manhattan), Moana Jr. (JTF West New Works Showcase), The 2023 BIPOC Cabaret (The Green Room 42), and debut voice of Karen McCormick in South Park’s “The Poor Kid” episode. Instagram: @cuhleste.
I had the honor to perform as Moana in Moana Jr. at the Junior Theatre Festival New Works Showcase with my hometown theatre, Spark of Creation Studio, and iTheatrics.
My competitive hip hop team at Spark of Creation Studio collaborated with the Jr. members of the Tribe Dance Crew to place 2nd in the Jr. team division at World of Dance in 2018.
